About
Located in Pigeon Forge, TN. Dollywood is a theme park owned and operated by Dolly Parton, and Herchend Family Entertainment. With over 3,000 people under payroll, Dollywood is the largest employer in the entire city. All people who work for them get discount tickets, making a huge fraction of the city that get in cheaper. Dollywood also owns a sister park siting right across the street that offers concerts, musical events, and dinner theater.

Hosting two and a half million guests in a season on average, as of 2009, a huge incline from 1986, where the average was around 1.3 million. In 2010 the park was awarded the "Biggest ticketed tourist attraction of Tennessee". Parton claims that a lot of her success is from herself, giving out 2 for 1 tickets when the occasion come about, and because of the close "Great Smokey Mountains National Park". Coupons available for the opening seasons, from early spring until Christmas.

Testimonial
I had a really fun time here, I didn’t go on any of the big rides but I did go to the musical dinner every night I was there. With my discount pass in hand I walked right up to the gate and they instantly took half of the price off. Not to mention it’s pretty inexpensive anyway. I suggest that everyone goes to Dollywood if they are in the state. No regrets I promise.
